Quick answer

Big Walk puzzles are designed for cooperation and communication. Many use distance, blocked sightlines, limited tools or separated roles, and some adapt to the host's 2-player, 3-player or 4+ challenge setting.

Read the space first

Identify buttons, lights, sightlines and anything that changes when one player moves. Agree on names for landmarks before splitting up.

Assign clear roles

Use one observer, one mover and one caller when possible. Short instructions reduce mistakes when proximity chat becomes weak or muffled.

Skipping challenges

The host can enable Challenge Skipping when starting a session. It is an official accessibility option for challenges involving hearing, reading, speaking, typing or precise reactions.

Reliable facts at a glance

Big Walk launched on August 4, 2026 for Windows, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. It supports crossplay for 2 to 12 players. Progress is saved automatically by the host, so the same host is needed to continue that journey.
