Quick answer

Big Walk has no full solo mode and is designed for at least two players. A person may enter and explore parts of the world alone, but many required cooperative challenges cannot be progressed normally without another player.

Why two players are required

Puzzles divide information and physical actions between people. Buttons, lifting, distant targets and communication restrictions are core mechanics.

Best small-group option

Use the official 2-player world setting with one friend. It adapts relevant challenge configurations for a pair.
